Oh Boy ($4.60) and Allan Davis were 1:56 winners in the featured $20,000 Open Trot on Wednesday (Oct. 18) at Harrington Raceway, as part of the season finale.
Trained by Jason Johnson, the four-year-old Donato Hanover gelding made a steady gain first over and hit the wire first in a narrow margin of victory over Fifty Ways and Not For Moni. It was the third straight win and ninth of the year for Oh Boy, trained by Jason Johnson and owned by Mulligan Stable and Calcutta Stable.
Davis collected four wins on the closing card and solidified his title as the meet's leading driving. Davis earned 128 victories over the meet to collect his fourth straight driving title. Tony Morgan (113), Montrell Teague (108), Ross Wolfenden (92) and Art Stafford Jr. (81) rounded out the top five.
Leading trainer Joe Columbo, who was presented with the honours during the Tuesday (Oct. 17) card, also earned his fourth Harrington crown.
Live harness racing on the Delaware circuit will shift 20 miles north to Bally's Dover, which opens on Oct. 30.
