Lawless Shadow made every pole a winning one en route to a 5-3/4-length triumph in the $11,000 Preferred Pace at Flamboro Downs on Wednesday (Oct. 18).
Tyler Moore and Lawless Shadow rocketed from the rail and posted panels in :26.3, :55.2 and 1:23.2 before romping home in 1:52.1. Dontpokethedragon (Travis Cullen) finished second and Wilcat Rocky (Brett MacDonald) was third.
Trainer Dr. Ian Moore co-owns the five-year-old son of Shadow Play and the Bettors Delight mare Ladycino with R G McGroup Ltd, Serge Savard and Frank Cannon. He earned his fifth win of the season and 14th career tally. Lawless Shadow boasts career earnings of $983,049 from 51 starts.
He paid $3.70 to win as the favourite.
