Nominal Hanover Takes Green Acres

Nominal Hanover rallied for a narrow victory in the $25,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final – Green Acres for two-year-old pacing fillies on Thursday afternoon, October 18 at Freehold Raceway.

The Western Ideal filly, driven by Daniel Dube and trained by Abe Stoltzfus, was a nose winner over Ashlees Card (by Cams Card Shark). It was a length and a quarter to the pacesetter, Isle of Shoals (Rocknroll Hanover), in third. Betting favourite Light Of Day (Rocknroll Hanover) was four and a quarter lengths back in fourth.

Nominal Hanover paced the mile in 1:59.1, picking up her third win along with one second and two thirds from 10 starts. The filly has banked $27,400 for Ernest Hartman of Toledo, Ohio.
