Local and national leading trainer Richard Moreau and driver Sylvain Filion dominated Wednesday night's harness racing card at Georgian Downs, winning races both together and apart.

Moreau earned his first win in the opener with the streaking sophomore pacer Aahm A Gesture ($6.80) and returned to the winner's circle after trotter Poof K ($6.60) won his fourth race assignment. Trotters Checknyouout ($4.20) and Think Gold ($10) hung on by a nose to win the sixth race and eighth races to complete the Moreau grand slam.

Sylvain Filion drove Moreau's first three winners while Georgian's leading driver Scott Coulter reined home the last. Filion also won the seventh race with sophomore pacing filly Western Motif ($7.10) for new trainer Jason McGinnis and the ninth with Charles Ward's pacer Charmbo Willie ($8.40) to bring his nightly win total to five.

Moreau pushed his season leading win total to 244. With 316 driving wins on the year, Filion has already matched his 2011 win count and has cracked Canada's top 10 list.
