Nine-year-old Cambest mare Abby Best has been installed as the 5-2 morning line favourite for the $14,993 final of the Erwin Andrew Memorial Series, which will take place Wednesday, October 20 at Summerside Raceway

.

The series, sponsored by Standardbred Canada, Meridian Farms and Summerside, is for aged pacing mares which are Canadian sired and/or 100 per cent Canadian owned.

Abby Best, who has drawn the rail for the eight-horse tilt, will be steered by Kenny Arsenault for trainer Angus Hall.

She will be carrying a two-race win streak heading into the final, as she captured a leg of the series September 30 at the Charlottetown Driving Park and followed that up with a wire-to-wire score October 10 at Truro Raceway.

Five-year-old Cammibest mare Slim N Sleek (PP5, M. Downey, 3-1) has been pegged as the second choice in the early odds, while six-year-old Dexter Nukes mare Grace And Harv (PP8, G. Barrieau, 7-2) has been installed as the third choice on the morning line.
