Bobby Clark drove the five-year-old son of Mach Three-Winning Lin to a 1:59.4 victory in the feature event over his stablemate, even-money favourite Dees Promise (Hoerdt). Dance Step (Tyler Redwood) rounded out the top three.
Hoerdt and Blair Corbeil of Beaumont, Alta. own both the winner and runner-up. The victory was Killean Cut Kid's fifth in 20 seasonal starts and pushed his earnings to $22,815 for 2010 and $90,137 lifetime. He paid $8.00 to win as the 3-1 second choice.
Hoerdt also won the prior two races with Everybody Dance ($30.70) and Soul N Inspiration ($8.10).
