Trot Insider has received some details in regard to the 11th annual ‘Harness the Hope’ fundraiser in support of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, which will take place on Friday, October 28 at The Raceway at Western fair District.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
There will be a 50/50 draw and penny auctions that will get underway at 6:00 p.m. (the winners will be drawn after Race 8). There will also be a silent auction table set up in the third-level grandstand. The silent auction will get underway at 6:00 p.m. and will close after Race 8.
If you wear pink to the races on October 28 you can head by the main lobby and pick up a ballot for a mystery prize.
Anybody interested in taking part in a Harness the Hope group photo can meet trackside after Race 3.
Harness the Hope will also have apparel on sale in the main lobby. Two dollars from every item sold will be directly donated to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. There will be hats, tee-shirts, sweatshirts, and more, for sale at the event.
