Allthatjazz De Vie continued to look like a serious youngster when she captured her fourth straight race in Tuesday’s opening leg of a late-closing series for freshman filly pacers at The Meadows.

Momas Got A Gun took the other $12,500 opening-leg split.

Allthatjazz De Vie opened her career with an out-of-the money finish at Running Aces but is undefeated since then, with a mark of 1:53.2. In the series, the daughter of American Ideal-Todalu easily thwarted the first-over challenge of Doll Fins for Dave Palone and defeated her by 4-1/4 lengths in 1:56.2. Ladys Critic was third.

Ron Burke conditions Allthatjazz De Vie for Burke Racing Stable LLC and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.

A full sister to 2014 Little Brown Jug winner Limelight Beach (Somebeachsomewhere-Benear), Momas Got A Gun vaulted from the pocket around the far turn and sailed past Cantuhearmeknockn, downing her by 3-1/2 lengths in 1:56.4. Presentina completed the ticket.

Mike Wilder drove for trainer Virgil Morgan, Jr. and owner Geoffrey Martin.

Elsewhere on the card, Better Caviar moved powerfully first-over for Dan Rawlings to win the $20,000 Preferred Handicap Trot in a sharp 1:52.4 over Daylon Miracle. Cowgirl Hall earned show.

David Wade trains Better Caviar, a six-year-old son of SJs Caviar-Better Credit who now has banked $138,085, and owns with Gerald Brittingham, Kelley Rogers and William F Peel III.
