Kennairn Arts Boy doubled up in Sudbury Downs' Late Bloomer Series with a front-stepping score in his $7,500 second leg division on Saturday night.

Driven by owner Paul MacLean, three-year-old gelding Kennairn Arts Boy rebuffed first over challenger Lotto Ticket and held off Wildcat Champagne by half a length for the 2:06.1 victory over a track listed five seconds slow. The favourite, who is trained by France MacLean, paid $3.50 to win for the third time in a row.

Driver Tyler Moore won the other two divisions with four-year-old mare Rosalies Smile ($11.50) in 2:06 for trainer Mike Stoikopoulos and three-year-old gelding Jackaneenee ($10.10) in 2:04.4 for conditioner Sheldon Rose. Rosalies Smile was scratched sick from last weekend's opening round while Jananeenee was a close second.

The series is for non-winners of one race or $15,000 (fillies & mares $20,000) lifetime as of Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012.
