Market Share extended his unbeaten streak to five and the filly All In The Muscles beat the boys in their respective $25,000 divisions of the New Jersey Futurity for two-year-old trotters on Friday, October 14 at Freehold Raceway.
Market Share, a son of Revenue, coasted to a seven and a half-length, wire-to-wire victory in the second division for driver Jeff Gregory and trainer Linda Toscano. Chocolatta De Vie was second and Vic Smith third.
The mile was clocked in 1:59.1.
Market Share, who swept his first four career starts in the New Jersey Sire Stakes Green Acres series is owned Richard Gutnick of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania and Gary Cocco of New Town Square, PA.
In the first division, All In The Muscles was a three-quarters of a length winner over Purple Rain in 2:02. The two daughters of Muscles Yankee were the only fillies in the six-horse field.
It was three lengths back to TG in third.
All In The Muscles, driven by Andy Miller and trained by Julie Miller, picked up her second win in four starts. She races in the name of the Andy Miller Stable of Millstone, New Jersey, Marc Moger of New Hope, PA and Albert Delia, Jr. of Newtown, PA.
