The inaugural Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale starts this Thursday, Oct. 16, with two days of select yearlings followed by a mixed sale on Saturday, Oct. 18.
Preview day is set for Wednesday, Oct. 15. Yearlings will be available for inspection from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a cookout featuring LRods famous chicken on the apron at Harrah's Hoosier Park on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The cookout, sponsored by the Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale, the Indiana Standardbred Association and Harrah's Hoosier Park, is a chance for consignors and yearling buyers to relax, socialize, and enjoy a good meal prior to the start of the auction.
