Balmoral Park hosted their annual 'Paint The Park Pink' night on Saturday to help the fight against breast cancer.

The venue was packed with many patrons wearing pink in support of the fight against breast cancer.

“We had a great turnout for our 'Paint The Park Pink' night,” said Balmoral Park’s Director of Marketing, Ken Churilla. “Breast cancer is one of those diseases that unfortunately almost everyone is connected to somehow. That’s why we do so much to help fight this disease. We have our event tonight, we are selling pink horseshoes and beer special all month long, plus we have our 5K run in June. This is a war we can win and we all need to do our part.”

Balmoral Park will continue their 'Paint The Park Pink' efforts all through October.

Hang A Pink Horseshoe: Fans are encouraged to purchase an actual pink horseshoe in support or memory of someone who has been affected by breast cancer. Horseshoes will be sold for $5 as a pair – one to take home and the other be displayed with a personalized message on the 'Paint the Park Pink' boards along the main entrance for the entire month of October.

Drinks Fight Too: Every live race night in October, Balmoral Park will offer aluminum pints of Miller Lite, Coors Light and MGD for $3 with a portion of each sale going towards the fight against breast cancer in Chicagoland.

At the end of the month, all proceeds from Balmoral Park’s efforts will be donated to Dancing With Chicago Celebrities 'One In A Million' campaign. DWCC is a Chicago-based charity that donates money directly to breast cancer prevention and access to care in Chicagoland.
