Barrett Jackson Wins Feature; Fall Classic Continues

Barrett Jackson, under the command of Kenny Arsenault, made a bold three-wide move at the three quarter pole and charged home to win the feature event in 1:57.4 Wednesday night at Red Shores Summerside

Arsenault drove Barrett Jackson for trainer Neal Moase and owner Edwin Moase of Little York, P.E.I. Life Savior (Marc Campbell), who also came from well off the pack, grabbed second place while favourite BJ Cruiser (Gary Chappell) finished third.

The race featured the Wild Horses promotion where customers purchased a regular ticket and for an additional $2 were offered the instant pick triactor called Wild Horses. The Wild Horses ticket matched the winning triactor (8-5-7) giving player JoAnne Stewart the $500 Experience voucher along with the triactor pay-out of $122.40.

Windemere Royal doubled up in the Red Shores Fall Classic Series winning another leg of the new event presented by Howmac Farms Ltd. Marc Campbell engineered the 1:59.3 trip for owners Windemere Farms and Margaret Watts of North Wiltshire, P.E.I.

In Cahoots and Bob MacInnis also won their leg of the Red Shores Fall Classic on the program in 1:59.3 for owner Leon Stewart of Summerside, P.E.I.

Racing returns to Red Shores Charlottetown Thursday at 7 p.m.
