Demonstrating her dominance once again, Toms OK Lady shrugged off the effects of a wide trip and easily captured Tuesday’s $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred
Handicap Trot - her sixth consecutive win and third straight from post 9 - at The Meadows.
Toms OK Lady was parked past the five-eighths, but she persevered under Dave Palone’s guidance and drew off to score in 1:55.3. The pocket-sitting Caviar Forthe Lady was second, 1-1/4 lengths back, with Pilgrims Stunner third.
Ron Burke trains Toms OK Lady, a seven-year-old daughter of Inquirer-This Gals OK who now boasts a career bankroll of $662,337, for Burke Racing Stable LLC, M1 Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Bethann Palone.
Palone drove five winners and Greg Grismore three on the 15-race card.
