Pacer Euthanized After Marquis Downs Spill

Trot Insider has learned that an accident in the tenth race at Marquis Downs on Friday claimed the life of pacer Camstellation

.

The accident, which involved Camstellation (Glenn Le Drew) and Barona Galaxy (Clayton Braybrook), took place in the late stages of the mile. Sources have told Trot Insider Camstellation was euthanized after suffering catastrophic injuries. Drivers Le Drew and Braybrook along with the other pacer, Barona Galaxy, suffered no major injuries in the accident.

Camstellation, a three-year-old daughter of Camystic-Charmed One who was recently purchased by Max and Debra McInnes of Yorkton, SK, was trained by Shawn Worthen.
