Trainer Kyle Fellows is on the verge of setting new personal records when it comes to winning races and purses in a single season, and along the way he's managed to join the millionaires’ club.
Fellows, who earlier this summer captured the Gold Cup & Saucer in PEI with Shadow Place, saw his barn go over $1 million in purse earnings thanks to a seventh race score with claiming trotter Deuce Deuce Deuce during Monday’s card of racing at Mohawk Racetrack.
Kyle, the son of veteran trainer Rob Fellows (1,267 wins - $19 million), is just three wins away from matching the 36-win season he enjoyed in 2015, and with just under three months remaining until 2018 he is just under $30,000 away from achieving a personal single season record for purse earnings.
