A familiar face will return to the drivers’ colony at Kawartha Downs on Saturday evening after spending seven weeks on the DL
.
Fred Brethour will be reunited with his fellow reinsmen after rehabbing a broken knee cap – an injury that occurred in a racing accident. He has six drives lined up for his first night back at the office.
Kawartha’s 10-race program will also feature a pair of OSS Gold Series eliminations for the province’s top three-year-old trotting fillies. Among the headliners in action on Saturday will be the O’Brien Award winner, Elusive Desire.
