Leerhsen Leaving Sports Illustrated

According to a report by Stan Bergstein in the Harness Tracks of America Daily Newsletter, Charles Leerhsen, author of Crazy Good: The True Story of Dan Patch, the Most Famous Horse in America is leaving his post as executive editor of Sports Illustrated

Leerhsen, who was recently named winner of HTA's Dan Patch Award for exceptional media contributions, is leaving the magazine to pursue other writing opportunities.
