Britain's horse racing industry has announced that it will be tweaking its odds system on a trial basis in attempt to try to boost the popularity of the sport and attract a wider audience.
A report by the BBC states that the initiative is one of many by the 'Racing For Change' taskforce, which features representatives from all of the sport's key organizations and stakeholders.
The article states that a racecourse trial this spring will see odds of 15/8, for example, becoming 1.9/1, and 6/4 becoming 1.5/1.
