Student’s from the stable of trainer Blair Laffin didn’t make much noise during the early portion of the Sunday matinee at Truro Raceway, but they sure made a ruckus in the latter stages of the card.

Laffin watched Lady Gi Gi turn in an impressive 2:01.4 score in her eighth race assignment, and things really snowballed from that point on.

Life Of Crime followed up his stablemate with a win of his own – a 2:01.3 score – in the very next race and Heart Stealer gave Laffin his third winner on the 13-race program thanks to a gate-to-wire triumph in Race 13. The mare stopped the clock in 2:03.1.

The conditioner from Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, who recently went over $1 million in lifetime earnings, has sent out 908 winners over the course of his career.
