Last week Bo Mach turned a two-hole trip into a 1:50.4 score in the $25,000 Open Handicap at Dover Downs, and followed up that triumph with a 1:51.1 victory in Thursday’s $30,000 Preferred Handicap at the Delaware oval.

Bo Mach powered to the lead for Corey Callahan and together they wheeled the field through fractions of :27.2, :55.5 and 1:23.3 before using a :27.3 kicker to seal the deal. Bo Mach held on to win by three-quarters of a length over Eddard Hanover in 1:51.1. Little Ben rallied to grab the show dough in the eight-horse affair.

Dylan Davis trains the five-year-old son of Mach Three-Magnify This. The 6-1 upset score was the 14th lifetime tally for the pacer who surpassed $250,000 in earnings in the process. The gelding is owned by Howard Taylor of Philadelphia, PA.
