Windsor Raceway presented a 13-race program to its fans and horsemen on Sunday evening, and driver Trace Tetrick stole the show with a five-win performance
.
Tetrick got the ball rolling in Race 3 thanks to his tally with JJs Current – a pacer from his own outfit. The son of All I Ask went wire-to-wire in a time of 1:55.3. He returned to victory lane in Race 7 with Intend To Lead (1:56.3) and returned again following a 1:56.1 score with In The Jungle in Race 10.
Knock It Off A gave Tetrick his second training victory and his fourth driving tally on the card thanks to his 1:57.1 win in Race 11, and a come-from-behind score with Great Lakes Shark in a time of 1:55.3 in the finale wrapped up his five-bagger.
The early season success has helped Tetrick hold down a UDR of .368 – a number which stands well above last year’s total of .225. The career winner of 1,434 races has already racked up 34 wins this season.
