Officials with Winbak Farm have announced that the first-ever son of Captaintreacherous, p, 2, 1:49.2; 3, 1:47.1 ($3,148,657) arrived on Monday, January 18.
The Capataintreacherous colt’s dam is Restive Hanover, p, 2, 1:52; 3, 1:51.4 ($941,971).
In order to celebrate the first colt born of 2016, Winbak Farm has decided to hold a naming contest. The winner of the contest will be shipped a Winbak Farm hat.
Those submitting names are requested to follow naming guidelines.
Any name suggestions should be emailed to Elizabeth Cheesman at [email protected] by March 1.
