Carlson Wins Five At Windsor

Eric Carlson put on a driving clinic at Windsor Raceway winning five of Tuesday evening's 11 races

Carlson won the fourth race with You Raise Me Up ($5.20) for trainer Joseph Cirasuola before putting together a four-race win streak beginning two races later. Carlson reeled off victories aboard Envy ($3.80) for Greg Cook, Thrill Of Victory ($3.30) for Mark Jones, Silverdollar Shark ($10.90) for Tobin Carver and Arizona Dream ($6.10) for Paul Holzman to complete his five-bagger.

The resident of Detroit, Michigan was last year's leading driver at Windsor for wins (196) and money ($729,308). With 23 wins recorded so far this year at the five-eighths-mile track, Carlson sits second in the standings, trailing Trace Tetrick by four victories.

Carlson is coming off a career year in 2010 having won 603 races and earning over $1.8 million. His five wins on Tuesday brought his win total for 2011 to 56 and earnings to $164,013.
