An overview of respiratory viruses, the effect of these on racehorses’ health, vaccination and practical biosecurity were some of the key topics discussed during the webinar, Key Learnings from Alberta and How Respiratory Viruses Affect Your Racehorses’ Health, presented by Standardbred Canada (SC) on Tuesday evening.
SC facilitated the webinar attended by members, fans and racing officials from across the country. Moderated by Dr. Alison Moore, Lead Veterinarian Animal Health and Welfare Branch at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the panel of Industry Experts included:
