Following a five-win performance last Thursday, driver Doug McNair repeated the feat on Monday evening (January 20) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

McNair was a winner right out of the starting gate as he guided Crocadile Canyon ($3.10) to the claiming pacer's third straight victory in the week's opener for trainer Patrick Shepherd.

He then went on a three-race win streak in the fourth dash, bookended by a pair of victories with horses owned by Brad Grant -- the Ben Wallace-trained pacer Military Secret ($3.10), who won his third in a row, and trotter Derf Hanover ($9.80), conditioned by O'Brien Award finalist Richard Moreau. McNair also drove the late-closing pacer Brookletsjustified ($19.90) to an upset victory for trainer Rob Fellows.

The hot-handed reinsman later closed out the 11-race program in the same way he kicked it off. He won again teaming up with Moreau, who completed a training triple after also sending out the evening's seventh race winner Easy Flyer ($4.70, Louis Philippe Roy). The Grant-owned White Hair Rocks ($8) held on by a neck in the finale.

McNair has taken an early lead in the 2020 driver standings at Woodbine Mohawk Park and upped his January win total to 18.
