Horse Racing Alberta has reported that, for the time being, successful pacers Stabilo and Bedrock Motel are not going anywhere

.

The pacers were not sold during the Tattersalls January Select Mixed Sale at The Meadowlands in New Jersey on Monday.

The mares didn't attract enough bidding for Alberta owners Kelly Hoerdt, Erna Corbeil and Blair Corbeil to sell them. In both cases, 'RNA' is listed on the result sheets indicating the reserve bid was not attained. April Three - another four-year-old mare belonging to Hoerdt and Corbeil - was pulled out of the sale.

Kiss Quietly - a five-year-old mare co-owned by Calgary's Joe Hansofrd - was also removed from the auction. The online sale results indicate Stabilo was bought back at $45,000 while Bedrock Motel was taken back at $69,000. Bedrock Motel has four wins in 22 starts with 14 top-three finishes and $123,000 in lifetime earnings. Stabilo has 14 victories, 26 top-two performances and $209,000 in 49 career starts.
