A nasty-looking accident occurred in Race 10 at Kawartha Downs on Tuesday, and as a result driver Dagfin Henriksen was taken to nearby hospital

.

Pocket sitter No Average Luck and driver Dagfin Henriksen tried splitting between Owen More (Keith Jones) and Dragoninthesky (Aaron Byron) in deep stretch, but the Jim Skelhorn trainee appeared to strike the left sulky wheel of Owen More when attempting the move. No Average Luck fell right into the path of Medoland Griffey and driver Scott Cisco, catapulting that reinsman into the air.

Trot Insider has learned that driver Scott Cisco and both of the horses involved in the accident came away with no major injuries, but reports indicate driver Dagfin Henriksen suffered injuries to his lower back, knee and ankle.

Additional details will be posted when they become available.
