Jojo N Goliath ended a series of frustrating losses Wednesday when he made a decisive quarter-pole move and captured the $22,500 Preferred Pace at The Meadows

Although Jojo N Goliath had a victory in his five most recent starts, those four defeats were by two necks and two noses. He ensured there would be no close call Wednesday when he moved early from fourth for Eric Ledford and triumphed in 1:53.3 over a 'good' surface. Valentowner rallied for second, finishing half a length back, while Biletnikoff was third.

Paul Kennedy trains Jojo N Goliath, a six-year-old Keystone Raider-Jo Jo Cadet gelding who now boasts $438,503 in career earnings, for Daniel and Thomas Courtemanche of Michigan.
