Winning races is something Tables Big Secret mastered the art of in 2019 thanks to 15 trips to victory lane, and a Thursday night triumph in the feature race at Flamboro Downs gave her first taste of the checkered flag in 2020.
Trainer/driver Lyle MacArthur put the pedal to the metal early with Tables Big Secret in the $10,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 Handicap for pacers, and the five-year-old daughter of Big Jim-Table For Seven rocketed to the early lead.
She knifed out panels of :27.2, :56.3 and 1:24.4 before using a :30.4 closing quarter to win by a half-length margin over race favourite Buttermilk Hanover. So Long Darling enjoyed a pocket trip throughout and finished third. Time for the mile was 1:55.3.

Once she cleared she threw down middle fractions of :59.1 and 1:27 before sealing the deal with a :30.2 closing quarter. She won by 1-1/4 lengths over Sweet Ana Hanover in 1:57.2. Three Accounts took home the show dough.
Trainer Melissa Lamoureux shares ownership on the distaffer with Jeff Boyd and Jefferson Davis. The win was the ninth lifetime tally for Arya Stark who lifted her overall cash stash to just shy of $100,000.
