Recent import Oakwood Heymiki IR, a winner of four of five starts since arriving in North America from Europe, sold for six figures in an online auction on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 15.
Oakwood Heymiki IR was purchased via onGait.com for $173,913 ($120,000 USD) by Gordon Banks of Enviro Stables and will enter the Virgil Morgan Jr. stable.
Previously campaigned by Robert Cleary for owners Huschka And Flowers of East Windsor, New Jersey, the five-year-old gelded son of Always B Miki took his mark of 1:49.2 in his North America debut last November at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
