Bee Two Bee delivered another powerhouse performance for his sixth consecutive victory in the $5,100 Preferred 1 Handicap Pace on the Tuesday, Jan. 13 program, rescheduled from Saturday, at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Bee Two Bee ($2.80) was all business for driver Jason Hughes and trainer Ashley Gamester, leaving hard from post six and going gate-to-wire over the track rated good and two seconds off. The nine-year-old Sunshine Beach-Bee Fullof Steinam stallion ripped through splits of :28.1, :57.2 and 1:26 before stopping the clock in 1:54.1, winning by 5-1/2 lengths for owners Donald MacRae of Vernon Bridge, P.E.I. and Blair MacLauchlan of Charlottetown, P.E.I. Captainofrocknroll (Ken Murphy) rallied to be second with Merigo Magic (Adam Merner) third. The winner now has 47 wins and $559,677 in career earnings in 180 outings.

In the Open Trot, Buckhead Ridge ($3.10) opened his six-year-old season with a win. The 18-time winner in 2025 dictated matters from the front for Gilles Barrieau, putting up :29, 1:00.1, and 1:30.2 splits and turning back a late push from Fight Song (Jason Hughes) to score by a length in 1:59.1. Whole Nother (Colin Sheppard) completed the triactor. The winning Landon Campbell trainee is owned by Brady Doyle of Stratford, P.E.I. The son of Nuncio-Tuonela has won 24 times and earned $155,587 in 63 lifetime appearances.

The upper-class pace for fillies and mare in the ninth race went right down to the wire as Shake N Blake ($9.40) dug in late for Murphy to fight off Jennifer Doyle-trained stablemate Lady Devine (Drew Campbell) by a neck in 1:56.2.

Doyle and Murphy also clicked with Beth ($5.10) in Race 10 with a 1:59.2 effort. The Harrington, P.E.I.-based driver completed his triple in the 14th-race finale with Pictonian I Am ($9.50) in 1:57.2 for trainer Clifford Murphy.

Trainer Earl Watts doubled on the card, winning with Marleys Boy ($2.20) in the first race in 2:02.1 for driver Adam Merner and Rock The Baby ($13) for driver Paul Langille in 2:01.3 in Race 11.

Live racing continues at Charlottetown on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
