In a statement issued today, Jerry Silva, one of the owners of the great world champion Snow White, has announced that
she will be withdrawn from the January 19 Tattersalls Sale at the Meadowlands.
“It has been brought to our attention that Snow White has some issues that would make it difficult for us to sell her at this time,” Silva stated.
“She has been a brilliant champion and after discussions with my partners Curtis Larrimore of the North State Street Stable and Kevin Lare, who has trained her throughout her career, we feel this would not be the best time to offer her for sale. It is now our intention to breed her for our own account in the 2009 breeding season.”
