According to report by the Delmarva Media Group, plans for the proposed Del Pointe harness racing track in Delaware have been progressing well.
Developers Chesapeake Tract LLC recently met with town officials regarding the annexing of their 367-acre property, and it has been reported that the meetings went quite well.
"In these economic times, I'm always thrilled to hear anyone who's proposing to bring more (employment) into the area," mayor Larry Gum was quoted as saying.
"We're five or six months off from an official vote with the Millsboro Town Council," Preston Schell, one of the developers in charge of the project, was quoted as saying.
