Love To Rock, with driver Kyle DiBenedetto in the bike, won for the eighth consecutive time at Freehold Raceway on Saturday afternoon.
The Robert Horowitz-trained gelding has moved up from winning a $6,000 claiming race on November 10 to winning the previous three in $15,000 claiming races -- his most recent in 1:56.1.
Horowitz co-owns the five-year-old son of Rocknroll Hanover with fellow New Jersey resident Brian Clark.
The record for most wins in a row at Freehold is held by the filly Shortest Distance, who had 12 consecutive wins in 2009.
