Contest officials for the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship, which takes place this Saturday, October 18 at Woodbine Racetrack, have selected the tracks for the championship races.
The tracks are:
• Fraser Downs
• Georgian Downs
• Western Fair Raceway
• Woodbine Racetrack
There will be at least one mandatory race selected from each of the above tracks. The four tracks offer a variety of product in terms of race conditions and classes and also offer different-sized racing surfaces from a half-mile to a seven-eighths mile.
Ten of the 20 races that participants will handicap in the championship are mandatory races. These ten races will be announced at the Welcome Reception & Luncheon at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday.
The Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship features a field of 50 handicappers from across Canada competing for a $25,000 grand prize.
