A scheduled presentation of the Size & Scope Study by IER to the BC racing industry at Fraser Downs tonight has been cancelled due to unfavourable weather and road conditions.
Snow falls in Vancouver and surrounding cities have disrupted traffic and made travelling to Fraser Downs difficult.
The BCSA and BCSBS office received several cancellations from invitees and after discussing the situation with IER's presenter Paul Limoli a decision was made to cancel in the interest of safety.
The Size and Scope Study has been developed after an exhaustive information gathering process by IER will now be presented at a later date.
The BCSA will advise further details regarding the rescheduling of the presentation when they are known.
