Recently, Equine Guelph and the Officer for Open Learning at the University of Guelph have expanded the online Equine educational programs
, now offering in addition to the award winning Equine Science Certificate, a Diploma in Equine Science and the Certificate in Equine Business Management.
With the increase in students and number of courses offered we are looking to expand our equine instructor base in these program areas:
• Equine Behaviour
• Equine Business Management
• Marketing & Communications in the Equine Industry
• Finance & Risk Management
We are looking for instructors with an academic background combined with industry leading experience. If you have an extensive knowledge base in these areas, practical and successful industry experience, a love of teaching and desire to instruct in an online web-based educational program – we would like to hear from you!
Some of the skills we are looking for include:
• Completed post secondary education; undergraduate or graduate studies
• Extensive experience in the equine industry
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively in an online environment in additional to email
• Creative, innovative educator who has a desire to excel at teaching equine studies
• Responsible, reliable and self-motivated are qualities to describe you and your work skills
