The BC Standardbred Horse Adoption Society (Greener Pastures) is looking for a new program coordinator
.
The paid position involves:
- accepting suitable horses into the program
- matching horses with adopters
- keep in contact with adopters
- give advice when needed
- file all paperwork
- keep website up to date and answer e-mails
- work with the trainers and volunteers at the farm
- attend all board meetings
- organize fundraising, parades, trade shows and games days
The candidate must have excellent people and horse skills, knowledge of the harnass racing industry and an absolute dedication to the cause
