Bernard Livernoche Passes

Trot Insider has learned that Bernard Livernoche passed away in the comfort of his St. Eustache home on Tuesday, December 30 at the age of 61 after many struggles of fighting cancer.

His beginnings from his teens up until 1985 was his schooling under the late Albert Hanna and then making the move to Montreal's Blue Bonnets track where he opened his own stable.

Gordon Pupil, Emile Sylvestre and Jean Yves Blais along with many others had the greatest respect for his training abilities. Campaigners from the Livernoche stable include Timeless Memories, Jaymac Hanover, Homeboy Hanover, Senio, Rammone and M B Barcelone just to mention a few.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and was a credit to an industry that also is struggling. His love was the sport.

Livernoche is survived by his family and his partner of 18 years, Sandy Zakuta.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 7th at: LES SALONS FUNERAIRES GUAY INC., 146 rue St. Louis, St. Eustache, Qc. Visitation from 2-4 p.m. with service and reception to follow.
