TCNHC Player Profile – Rene Rail
Rene Rail will be making the trip from Val Cardin, Ont. to represent Sudbury Downs at the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship this weekend at
Rideau Carleton Raceway.
Rail, a longtime race fan with over 50 years under his belt, is looking forward to using some of his racing knowledge in the upcoming tournament. With the grand prize set at $25,000, Rail is sure to have his game face on this weekend.

Rail is no stranger to Rideau Carleton Raceway and hopes that his knowledge of the Rideau past performances will help him take home the $25,000 grand prize. Rail said that he’d love to take the prize money and give it to his grandchildren should he be crowned champion this weekend.
