On Thursday, June 16, a committee within the Ottawa City Council approved a switch in zoning which will allow the implementation of 21 gaming tables at Rideau

Carleton Raceway.

A report by the Ottawa Citizen explains that the committee passed the zoning change after a motion was passed to study the affects of the expansion on area traffic once the Ontario Government formally signs off on the new tables.
