KY Senate Passes Lottery-Game Bill
On Friday, February 13, the Kentucky Senate approved Senate Bill 74 – a piece of legislation that calls for the alteration of existing state lottery laws to allow a ‘shared lottery game’ – by a vote of 20-10.
As a report by the Lexington Herald-Leader explains, the bill now moves to the House, and if it is passed there and eventually gets signed into law, Kentucky would becomes the first state in the United States of America to offer the unique lottery wager.
Bill 74 would allow a horse wagering betting product like EquiLottery to become legal in the state.
