Stakes Payments Due Today (May 15)

Trot Insider has gathered all of the notices and reminders regarding stakes payments that are due today, Wednesday, May 15.


SC's May 15 Stakes Reminder

Standardbred Canada would like to remind owners/trainers that several stakes payments are due on or before Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

Stakes payments can be paid with a debit or credit card using SC Stakes Online. A video tutorial is available to help you get started.

Payment information and stakes conditions can be viewed on the Online Stakes Guide by clicking here.

A generic stakes form can be used to submit these payments by mail. It can be located by clicking here.

Yearling Nominations

• Atlantic Sires Stakes - $50 (plus ASBA membership fee $45 if not already paid)
• Maritime Breeders Stake - $50
• Island Breeders Series - $30
• Nova Scotia Stake - $25
• Maritimer Stake - $20
• Frank & Beth Stanfield Memorial - $60
• Donnie & George Turner Memorial - $20
• Carl & Marg Mackenzie Memorial - $20
• Bill Quigg Memorial - $15
• Williamson Memorial - $15
• Lady Slipper - $75
• Joe O'Brien Memorial - $75

Two-Year-Old Payments

• Lucien Bombardier nomination - $300

Three-Year-Old Payments

• Canadian Breeders Championship - $200
• Lady Crocus nomination - $20

Aged Mare Payments

• Atlantic Aged Mares Pacing Series nomination - $100
• Erwin Andrew Memorial nomination - $100
• Prairie Lily nomination - $20

Envelopes must be clearly post-marked on or before May 15 to be accepted, despite inadequacies of the postal system.
