It has been reported that a public meeting is scheduled to be held this week in regard to the proposed plan to see Rideau Carleton Raceway's alternative gaming area to include table gaming

An article on yourottawaregion.com explains that the meeting is scheduled to take place Wednesday, May 11 at the Fred Barrett Arena. The meeting is reported to begin at 7:30 p.m.

In March, city council endorsed a plan to bring a two-year gaming tables pilot project to the track.
