Showherthemoney Draws Record Bid At Harrisburg
Pacing mare Showherthemoney topped the final mixed sale session in Harrisburg on Saturday with a record bid of $700,000

Selling as Hip 2028, Showherthemoney was purchased for $700,000 by John Cancelliere of Clark, New Jersey from the Walnridge Farm consignment. The $700,000 bid was the highest price ever paid at auction for a pacing mare. The four-year-old daughter of Cams Card Shark out of $1.4 million earner Stienams Place is a half-sister to Put On A Show ($1,905,706). Showherthemoney has compiled a record reading 14-3-6 in 34 career starts earning $781,771. She banked most of her earnings as a sophomore with wins in the Miss New Jersey, Shady Daisy, Nadia Lobell (1:49), Jugette, Bluegrass Series, Garnsey and Matron.
Classic Rock Nroll, Hip 2143, garnered the second highest bid of the day. He was purchased for $275,000 by Bruce Saunders of East Rutherford, New Jersey from consignor Peninsula Farm. The three-year-old gelding is by Rocknroll Hanover out of Hall of Fame pacing mare Classic Wish and is a half-brother to Bettors Delight ($2,581,461) and No Pan Intended ($1,613,180). Classic Rock Nroll, who won the second opening heat of this year’s Little Brown Jug in 1:50.4, has put together a record reading 4-7-3 in 26 lifetime starts for earnings totaling $223,550.
A total of 940 horses were sold during the two-day mixed sale grossing $20,695,700 and producing an average price of $22,017.
