He defeated many of the top stakes colts of his class including If I Can Dream, Vintage Master and Hypnotic Blue Chip. At two, Straight Shooting was second to Well Said by just one and a half lengths after a challenging trip in the Champlain Stakes.
KEM Standardbreds is also offering a few shares of Straight Shooting for $3,500 per share which entitles shareholders to two free breedings per year, plus the chance to breed a third mare each year to ensure two live foals each year. If a third live foal is born in any season while using one share, then the shareholder pays just 75 per cent of the advertised $1,500 stud fee for the third foal.
