Mayotte Joins $50-Million Club
WEG regular Roger Mayotte reached a special career milestone on Monday night at Mohawk as the veteran driver surpassed $50 million in career earnings.
The classy horseman guided one of his trainees, Sky Mcfly, to victory in a $19,000 conditioned pace. The three-year-old son of Jeremes Jet-Nvincible rallied home off a second-over trip to stop the teletimer in a new mark of 1:52.3.
Mayotte shares ownership of the gelding with longtime partners Ross Warriner and Louis Liebenau.
The reinsman scored his first driving victory in 1977 with In The Groove at Greenwood Raceway.

Thanks for all the memories and great drives especially on a few of the not so greats you drove for me a very long time ago. One thing though I think you've aged a lot better than me lol. Take care.
