The sixth-leading Canadian driver in history, by purse earnings, at $136.9 million, Luc Ouellette had won four of the past five driving titles at The Mecca of Racing -- The Meadowlands -- when, in late 2003, at the age of 38, he simply left the United States and relocated to the WEG Circuit. 

Then, after a decade of success in Ontario -- including an O’Brien Award as Canada’s leading driver -- he basically woke up one morning and decided it was time to wind down his driving career altogether, while still at a fairly young age. 

Many wondered why? Many still do. 

The answer is easy: In both situations, Luc chose happiness.
