True Blue Hanover Tops Midwest Standardbred Mixed Session

True Blue Hanover fetched the highest price during the 2025 Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale's Mixed session on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Corteva Coliseum - Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana.
A five-year-old daughter of American Ideal - Transference, True Blue Hanover took a record of 1:51.3 at The Meadowlands as a three-year-old, one of her 10 career wins, and she sports $132,317. She's a sister to five performers with marks of 1:53 or faster and three in 1:50, including her three-quarter brother, Breeders Crown-winning millionaire Traceur Hanover p,4,1:49.2s ($1,150,688).
Racing at the time of the sale and selling open, True Blue Hanover was purchased by Wittmer Standardbred of Odon, In. as agent for $112,676 ($80,000 USD).
Millionaire pacing mare Yagonnakissmeornot was the highest priced broodmare of the session, with the daughter of The Panderosa - Artstopper selling for $70,422 ($50,000 USD). Yves Sarrazin of Fishers, In., acting as agent, signed the papers on the sister to world champion and 2016 U.S. Horse of the Year, Always B Miki.
Also fetching a final bid of $70,422 ($50,000 USD) was three-year-old trotting filly Mocha Hill. The daughter of What The Hill - Socha Hanover was a eight-time winner with $530,770 in earnings during her two- and three-year-old seasons with a mark of 1:54.3f. Franklin Equine of Wooster, Oh. placed the final bid.
The Midwest Standardbred Horse Sale, formerly known as the Hoosier Classic Yearling Sale, opened with two yearling sale days on Thursday and Friday.
